Karen Polshaw
Karen is a highly experienced Drama Teacher, Director and Fringe First Award winning Actress who trained at Manchester University. She has worked as Head of Drama and Theatre Studies at the world renowned Chetham’s School of Music for the past 11 years and on the prestigious BA Hons Acting Course at Manchester Metropolitan University.
She has directed numerous successful productions including the children’s opera ‘Brundibar’ which was performed at The Royal Academy of Music, Manchester Cathedral and the Imperial War Museum.
Other productions performed in the Baronial Hall at Chetham’s School of Music include ‘Top Girls’ by Caryl Churchill ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ by Oscar Wilde, ‘An Inspector Calls’ by J B Priestly and many more.
